Privacy
Privacy, in plain language.
Last updated 8 October 2026. This covers the website thevalenceapp.com, not the Valence app.
The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own, shows no ads and loads no third-party trackers or fonts. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us, through the contact form or by email.
What is collected, and why
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or write to hello@thevalenceapp.com (for early access, testing, a physics report or anything else), we receive your name, your email address and what you wrote. It is used only to reply to you and to act on what you asked, such as sending an early-access build.
- Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
- No analytics. We don’t run visitor analytics on this site.
Where it is kept
Messages from the contact form are saved in a private database on Cloudflare, which runs the site, and may also be delivered by Resend, an email service, to the founder’s Google Workspace mailbox, where they are stored by Google. Mail to hello@thevalenceapp.com goes to that mailbox directly. Nothing you send is sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list without your asking.
How long
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation or for early access, and delete it when you ask.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU) and KVKK (Turkey), you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to hello@thevalenceapp.com and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Arda Yıldız, reachable at hello@thevalenceapp.com.
